Medieval Fair – Visitor Terms & Conditions

By entering the Medieval Fair (“the Event”), you agree to comply with the following rules and conditions of entry:

  1. Entry & Tickets
  • Entry is only permitted with a valid ticket, wristband, or pass issued by the organisers.
  • Children under [insert age, e.g. 12 years] must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
  1. Animals
  • Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Owners are required to clean up after their dogs.
  • Aggressive or disruptive animals may be refused entry or asked to leave.
  1. Weapons & Costumes
  • Due to South Australian bladed weapons laws, no metal bladed weapons are permitted amongst the public at this year’s Event.
  • Costume weapons must be made from safe materials such as wood, foam, or plastic. Peace-bonding of costume weapons is encouraged. Security on site will be inspecting weapons at the gate to ensure they meet the requirements.
  • Any item considered unsafe by the organisers may be confiscated or denied entry.
  • Anyone wishing to purchase metal bladed weapons or knives from stallholders must leave these items with the stallholders and collect them only when they are leaving the event.
  1. Behaviour & Safety
  • Visitors must follow the directions of staff, security, and volunteers at all times.
  • Anti-social, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • The use of open flames, fireworks, or unauthorised fire pits is prohibited.
  1. Photography & Media
  • By attending the Event, you consent to photography and filming that may be used for promotional purposes.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please make this clear to the photographer at the time.
  1. Alcohol & Smoking
  • Alcohol may only be consumed in designated areas and must not be brought onto the site unless sold by licensed vendors.
  • Smoking and vaping are only permitted in designated areas.
  1. Risk & Liability
  • Visitors attend the Event at their own risk.
  • The organisers accept no responsibility or liability for loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
  • The organisers are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained by visitors while attending the Event.
  1. Refunds & Cancellations
  • Tickets are non-refundable unless the Event is cancelled by the organisers.
  • The Event will proceed in most weather conditions unless deemed unsafe. No refunds will be issued for weather-related disruptions.

By entering the Event, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
